What do the little numbers above the profile mean, anyway? To wit: whasis.tif (268.02 KB)

Is anyone interested in a slightly water damaged copy of The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Amazing Colossal Episode Guide (1994) before I just toss it out? PM me your address if so.

There was a time that would go for about $40 a copy. Seems less in demand now.

I noticed it while at a thrift store months ago, and the proprietor kindly added it to my bag free of charge.

Reading literally from a small stack of CD-R's that I've most recently listened to, the titles are as follows:
Slow World Cloud Pull A Strangely Isolated Place The Starwheel Spirit Dome
Exactly how huge a twit does this make me?

Eh, nothing inherently wrong with any of those.
Maybe don't keep them on the shelf all in a row, though.

Goddamn board continues to hassle me about the length of the subject. Is it flirting with me? Would you be able to get a screen shot of the harassment. I'm very curious what it's doing. I tried to do this and my laptop just won't honor the PrtSc button for some reason. Won't even acknowledge that it has one, the dissembler.
Edited to add: Curiouser and curiouser. That's the first time it let me post in this thread without a hassle.

Why must a Kardasian turn up as newsworthy every single day on the Google News aggregate?

Consider it yours, sir. I almost brought it along to the con to have Bill Corbet (Crow, Brainguy) sign it, and probably would have if it was in very good or better condition. Don't worry, it's in 'good' condition and perfectly readable.

OK, since I don't know where else to ask about this...in a couple of weeks I'm flying back to KY to start boxing up everything in preparation for transporting it back to CA (and shoving it into storage because I have no room to breathe here). At some point, Jeff managed to find himself in possession of what I can only describe as a shitload of porn mags.
Since I obviously can't bring them into the home of my lemme-pray-the-rosary-everyday muddah, I thought I'd offer it up for anybody who might want choice bits from it. I haven't looked through it yet, but I think I remember Jeff saying something about the usual suspects (Playboy, Hustler, Penthouse), and it probably goes from maybe the late 70s to the 90s.
He also has some kind of card collection of playmates or some such thing. Again, I don't know exactly what, since he has them mixed in with boxes and boxes and boxes of comics.
I'll know more about what's what in a few weeks, but I thought I'd just float this out there before basically chucking the lot out.

You might want to take them somewhere and get them appraised; or at least pick out issues that look like they might be significant (how this is determined for porn mags, I don't know; fame of the cover model, maybe?) and look them up on eBay or somewhere. There is a market for vintage porn, and certain issues of, say, Playboy can actually be worth a fair bit of money. Admittedly, I think it's mostly '60s-vintage issues that fetch high prices, but you never know.
On the other hand, I 100% understand if that's not something you want to deal with, given the circumstances.
