BOC are a truly underappreciated band. Sure, everyone knows the crazy name and everyone and her fucking sister have heard 'Don't Fear the Reaper' more times than they can remember, but their biggest hit also makes them sound like just another hard rock/proto-metal band trafficking in the standard dark imagery, which obscures how truly eccentric they so often are, as in this deeply weird track from their first album.
