Whereas I have no idea what any of this means. I get the impression we're not missing out on anything... Or maybe you are!

I will simply remark that Ms. Hynde, circa 1980, had a lovely hind end. Further, she was the (inadvertent) inspiration for one of the most intelligent and ultraviolent characters in 1980's science fiction.

I'm hanging in there. Not going to lie though. Seems longer than five days. A day like today at work wasn't difficult - because everybody in there looked their worst. It was like everybody* (myself included) was not at all concerned with personal appearances on this bleh Saturday in early November. And it showed. I didn't see a single person attractive enough to pose a risk to my NNN.
My problem is I get ornery after a week without the release. I mean that's all it is anymore anyway. Like a release valve for pent up pressure. So if I realize I'm acting like a jerk at work, I'll go ahead and call it a failed challenge and mellow out (so to speak). It's really no big deal either way.

Do tell! I wasn't aware she was an inspiration for a character from 1980's sci-fi.

Which, I admit, seems a bit odd, but apparently is the case. How one gets from an American/Anglo rock musician to a bionically-enhanced gun-for-hire I can't say. But the attitudes are not actually that different.

Whereas I have no idea what any of this means. No Nut November is a voluntary month-long abstention from ejaculation.

Apparently, if you survive NNN, you are then obligated to observe Destroy Dick December (it's like a free pass to masturbate your way through the entire Christmas season). Or, as I call it: Every December in recent memory. I don't know why I'm even participating in this awful nonsense. Has my existence become so arbitrary? Just following some dumb invented trend?
Forgive me. Six days in and I'm having an existential crisis.

I didn't see a single person attractive enough to pose a risk to my NNN. Okay, but why though? Like, what goal or purpose or anything, really, is this project intended to further? I'm doing it out of sheer arbitrary "What can I attempt this month" energy because my life is totally meaningless.. Probably feeling cocky after completing my second ever successful "31 Nights of Horror" watch challenge in October. Like I mentioned in a previous post - if I start getting chippy with coworkers or customers, I'll know it's time to call this NNN challenge quits. Seems like somebody told me the NNN is sometimes attempted by weightlifters who do usually see gains for the month when they refrain from release. I don't know if that's true or not. It's common practice in sports. Coaches will even ask players to just get plenty of rest and no fooling around before the big game. Obviously, that's not a whole month thing. I do wonder if the NNN might actually be bad for you. I honestly don't remember the last time I went a month without doing SOMETHING. I might have been 10 or 11...
