My niece and nephew-in-law brought over some potential toys for Harlow the golden but she really hasn't been too enthused for them (even her Ducky, which they claimed was her TOY). So, on a whim, I picked up a rubber ball for her yesterday on a shopping trip. She hasn't let go of that thing since. It's within a foot of her at all times.
This is weird. Harlow likes playing fetch, although she's iffy on the whole "bring it back" notion. What she does instead is bring the toy over to a patch of weeds or base of a bush and tears the living shit out of the area in seconds. She doesn't bury the ball, and isn't a maniac if you take it from her. I don't what her deal is. She's got some powerful jaws and claws though, I can tell you that. I can see how she could accidentally harm a baby in seconds.
