I wish I could report here that I had finally gotten to see Never Sleep Again, the documentary on Nightmare on Olm Street Part 2 (and we really need a thread on that film here on the new board, along with Oreo Big Stuf).
Deeky sent me the 2 DVD set of Never Seep Again years ago, but I've never gotten it to play on any of my video players, and have only gotten a playback on the computers at a local college library, but never had enough time to actually get into the film, since the library was nearly 30 miles from home. Just got to watch a few minutes.

I'm thinking about watching Mondo Bolardo, if it doesn't cost anything. I have to log into my Google account in order to get onto the Soemthing Weird Video site that has the film, and I still don't know if there would be a fee to view the film.
I don't think Mondo Bolardo was a very good film, but with Boris Karloff narrating it, that is good enough for me, plus it was the first Mondo film I ever saw, way back in 1972-1973, at a drive in with TR Baskin, a film with Candice Bergen and Peter Boyle, along with The Road To Nasville, made in Johnny Cash's near death, wretched, pitiful skinny speed freak days.

Around that time, Mondo Balordo also played as a 3rd feature with Mondo Cane and Mondo Cane Part 2, in a Charlotte, NC Drive in. Tod Browning's Freaks also played in the Charlotte Drive In, probably the Queen (named for the Queen city of Charlotte), along with Luis Bunel's An Andalusian Dog, misspelled in the newspaper ads, "Ampulsion Dogs," and, what was the third attraction?
I didn't get to see Freaks until 1978, at the local college, in 16mm.

Can't remember what else I wanted to comment on.

I watched "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (the movie) and "Galaxy Quest" last night. Mainly in preparation for Pensacon in less than a month. Several stars from both are slated to appear. Seen `em both before, but was worth catching them again to refresh my lousy memory.

I've watched about 50 mins of a Rocky Jones Space Ranger feature film, which I reported on Recent purchases.
Am thinking about later pursuing hopefully getting to see Mondo Balordo, with my description elsewhere on this new message board, of the problems involved.

Holy shit. That came out huge (see image in post above). I'll probably get around to shrinking it sometime later. Can't be bothered with it right now. Once again, Dr. Claw, I've got to ask you, or better ask you and Deeky, was that image posted above from a URL link, or from a file uploaded from USB or some other non URL source? I was very hopeful that on this new board we could upload from images stored on USB, rather than URL links only. But, until I find out differently, my hopes are dashed.

So, in the case you quoted me from above, I originally posted the image to Thumbsnap, my favorite image hosting site. However, it came out gargantuan. So, I edited the post, getting rid of the image link to the Thumbsnap upload, and just utilizing the Proboards attachment doohickey. I think it might have been the first time I tried the attachment function here, actually. Are you still stuck with using the library computers, or did you work out something at home?

Thanks for the reply, Dr. Claw. I am using my home computer most of the time, but do occasionally use the public library computers.

I've now watched all 3 of those Rocky Jones Space Ranger features that I purchased last week. They were: Manhunt In Space, Beyond the Moon, and Silver Needle In the Sky.
Each of these 3 DVDs had two Superman animated cartoons on them as a bonus.
The Rocky Jones films are basically oriented around the characters, the heroes and the Villians, and they all become very familiar after viewing a few of the features.
I think they are OK.
I now have more films to watch, which I'll tell about on the recently purchased thread.

I seem to remember reading there were some Rocky Jones toys marketed. Will have to re-check to be sure.
