This is random, but I do a fair bit of a community theater, and I just got done with a production of Young Frankenstein where the woman playing Inga was married to Sean Murphy, the guy who wrote Batman: White Knight. (She also mentioned the "adult" DC comics thing; I guess at some point she was going to write some sort of BDSM thing for them? She's a romance novelist.) Something along these lines?  |

 EC comics are one of those things I thought I'd read, but really knew more from second-hand knowledge. I was surprised at how literate much of it was. I'm trying to imagine some kid in the 50's picking up a title called "Two Fisted Tales", only to read anti-war stories where nobody gets out alive |

This could just as easily have gone in "Small Entertainments," but I just realized that five of the nine old comics that I bought at the mini-con in Frederick today were about buff dudes with no shirts.
