I've just watched chapter 14, The executioner strikes, running time, 14:52. Chapter 15, which I think is the final chapter, is titled "The Doom of the Rising Sun."

Just watched the final chapter of the 1943 Batman serial, Chapter 15, The Doom of the Rising Sun, and I'm glad I did watch it and don't feel it was a waste of time.
I'm in no hurry to watch the 1949 serial.
And, I would much prefer to have seen the 1943 serial on a movie house screen, as it was originally intended to be seen.
But, I can't have everything I want, can I?
I liked it, and thought it was OK for what it was.
I will say that while the resolutions of the cliffhanger endings of the chapters, followed by the resolution of just how Batman and Robin got out of the deadly situations they were in, while far fetched, seemed belevable in their own context.
However, from the ending situation of Chapter 14, to the beginning of Chapter 15, which backtracks to before the cliffhanger ending of the previous chapter the explanation of that one was given, and I'd call it cheating the audience.
Well, I've got the links here to re-watch anything I might want to, and also to read viewer comments and voice my agreement or disagreement.

Last night and early this morning, I started reading the IMDB reviews of the 1943 Batman serial, and almost all of them were positive.
Now I'm going to start reading the comments by the u-tube viewers after each chapter.

I've finished reading the comments of which there were very few.
Some episodes had no comments, while the others had as few as one comment, and as many as 4, sometimes with replies to the comments.
I'm ready to read some more of the old Detective Comics from the early 1940s.
I have somewhat neglected my comic books lately.
