Dr. Kobb, I vaguely remember me and the elephants, but not well enough for it to be playing in my head.
I cannot for the life of me remember when I first heard that song, or when I last heard it for that matter, but that wistful refrain stuck with me for years. It was nice hearing it again, even if it's kind of a sad little tune. I definitely like it better than that Simon & Garfunkel "Zoo" song I posted prior. I honestly had no idea it was a Bobby Goldsboro song.

Dr. Kobb, I just listened to Bobby Goldsboro's son about me and the elephants, and I'm glad that you and I share a mutual appreciation of Bobby's sometimes poignant songs.
Webmaster Deeky, you are all over the place as to what recording artitss you are familiar with. Have you heard mutch of Bobby Goldsboro's music, and if so, do your share any of my and Dr. Kobb's appreciation of the sometimes poignancy of Bobby's songs?
I have read some music critics' writings that "Honey" was one of the worst songs ever written (along with American Pie among many others), and the Smothers Brothers even did a parody of "Honey," really trashing it.
I don't think it is Bobby's best work, and the sentimentality and poignancy of that one might be a bit much to the point of inviting ridicule, but sometimes Bobby does produce some real feeling in his listeners, and I'm glad Dr. Kobb was able to find that in "Me and the Elephants."

As far as I know, I've never heard a Bobby Goldsboro song. Also, I've never seen Bobby Goldsboro in any porn movies, gay or straight or even bi. I've never seen Bobby Goldsboro fuck, suck, finger or fist anyone, or get fucked, sucked, fingered or fisted by anyone. Nor have I seen any Bobby Goldsboro-looking things doing anything the GLBT community or the straight community, whichever one Bobby Goldsboro or any Bobby Goldsboro-looking thing may have been a member of, might find of interest, even Serious, Mature Adults™.

What about showering? Have you ever seen any Bobby Goldsboro showering material? Or better yet, Zoomeranging?

Deeky, it is fine with me if you have never heard a Bobby Goldsboro song, or if you never hear a Bobby Goldsboro song. I don't know if Bobby ever recorded any song written by himself, or only recorded songs written by other musicians. I've stated before, on ZAQB, probably the old board, and possibly as far back as the Mez board, the I saw two Ole Bobby Goldsboro Lookin' Things, in some X rated films, the first one Ron Dwyer, in Don't Just Lay There. Mr. Dwyer was also in a trailer I saw for Dr. Masher, and in a Something Weird short on a compilation of loops, all of these films being simulated sex films, although the trailer for Don't Just Lay There! tried to suggest that film did have hard core porno sex acts in it, by saying that the film "made the breakthrough." Well, it didn't. The narrator of the trailer said, that "a recent cinematic survey showed an overabundance of sexual arousal among people watching Don't just lay there. In some places some people have even tried to censor parts of the film, or even ban it entirely. To hell with these people! We are proud of the sexual arousal that Don't just Lay There produces in the viewers. It is a testament to . . . (I can't remember all of the narration, but as usual, the trailer is probably better than the film. According to the AFI Catalog, it premiered in Charlotte, NC, in probably late summer of 1970. The Something Weird video catalog does not name Ron Dwyer, but mentions "a sideburned Bobby Goldsboro looking" actor in the short. George Peters was the other Ole Bobby Goldsboro Lookin Thing in late 1960s and early 1970s erotic films, and he did hard core porno, films including Adultery For Run And Profit, Sex With a Smile, Sex Problem, Flesh Gordon (porno cut out for R rated release), and right now I can't remember how many more, and George was also in regular release films the last one in 1981. I think he was in Balling For Dollars, as the Twinkle Twat Boy. I think the performances of both of these Ole Bobby Goldsboro Lookin Things would be of interest to porno fans of all sexual orientatqions, but I don't know if either or both of them were ever in any gay or bi porno or not

23 films and TV shows is quite a resume, Deeky. I've gotten a burst of energy lately, doing a lot of jogging, which brings me out of feeling depressed and motivates me to accomplish things I need to do like household cleaning and repairs.
One project I'm working on is those 49 or 50 discs Dr. Kobb sent me a few weeks ago. 2 were CD audio discs so that takes it down to 47 or 48 DVDs, 20 of them having Dark Shadows episodes on them, which will really continue to broaden my horizons of that show.
I'm now on 1969 episodes, and David, the bad little boy who temporarily became sympathetic, has become posessed by an evil spirt, and 3 years older and not as little any more, is up to a lot of mischief including a not exactly pretty Gypsy Lady.
Many thanks to Kr. Kobb for this addition to my knowlege of a TV show that has come Late in My Life.

Oh, and Dr. Kobb mentioned showering, in a post above. The Tyler In the Shower project has been put on hold for a very long time.
I've probably told this before, but I really think some of those captions on videos are machine generated by probably "artificial intellegence, that might not even do a better job if it wore a hearing aid.
I've saved 52 screen shots of Tyler In The Shower, all with closed captions that sound nothing whatsoever like what I hear (or think that I hear) when I watch the video.
The first part of the project, getting the u-tube framing cropped out of the picture has been completed. I'm hoping that in the complete full screen shots I can find the film-maker's name and check out his other work, assuming that he has not abandoned u-tube altogether.
But, the screen shots do need some brightening up.
And, possibly some color correction.
Color corection is something that I have never mastered in all my years of adjusting photos.
I might post a few samples here on a special Tyler In The Shower Test thread, for some of you ZAQBers who are more adept in color balance in photos than I am.
But, I might be past the ranks of Royal Anteater, and Shower Enthusiast before I get that project really under way.
Don't anybody be holding your breath and / or crossing your fingers to see the Tyler In The Shower Project completed.

Did Tyler ever show his b-hole in that shower video? No, Deeky, he did not show his b-hole in the video. He simply stood there, with a wall concealing his body from slightly above his waist down, and spent the time mostly in one pose, soaping himself, and letting the shower water rinse him, briefly turning his back to the interviewer one time. What I could make out of the dialog was that Tyler came from a big family, and that he composed poetry while showering. The interviewer ended the video clearly saying "There you have it - Tyler In The Shower." Or at least that is how it sounded to me. Maybe I should have put a fresh battery in my hearing aid, but not one word of the closed captions sounded like anything I heard on the sound track, most of it unintelligible. Possibly if I put myself under hypnosis and listen to the sound track with my ear buds, or thru a speaker, with the sound run thru a 20 watt per channel amplifier, It will be more understandable. I'm also thinking that an equalizer, which I don't have any more, but I do have woofer and tweeter speakers, so I won't give up, but with the shower water running during the whole interview, the dialog between Tyler and the interviewer just doesn't come thru well at all.

No, Deeky, he did not show his b-hole in the video. That seems a waste of a perfectly good shower video.
