I'm trying to broaden my horizons on the Search for Lost Films, and I think I have mentioned This film before, Children of Loneliness, a 1930s Roadshow? film about homosexuality. But, I can't remember which thread it might have been on. So, I'm starting this thread as a general, all purpose LOST FILMS thread, in addition to a certain very notorious Lost Porno Film on the Film Detectives Thread. I think the Lost Media Wiki message is a good board to post to, since they cover all times and eras of both old fashioned theatrical films as well as recent TV and video. Here is the link for the Lost Media Wiki thread on Children of Loneliness: forums.lostmediawiki.com/thread/1441/children-loneliness-lost-1935-homosexuality

As much as I despise having to think up new passwords and user names, to join new message boards, I am going to have to bite the bullett, and do that to join two new ones (at least new to me), one called Nitrate something, which seems to be mostly concerned with silent films, and is of interest to me because it has posts on the mysterious Mike of Mike's Notorious London After Midnight Myth's Page, which is a Must for any of you Serious Mature Adult Film Detectives out there.
Also, another forum not exclusively devoted to lost films, but films in general which does have a section on lost films.
Most recently, I have been interested in finding out whether the dear to the heart HG Lewis ultra violent "stomping" scene in Moonshine Mountain is lost or not.
Mr. Lewis was very satisfied with what up to that point, he considered his best "gore" effect, but because parents were bringing their kids to the drive-in, he reluctantly cut it out of the premiere showing of Moonshine Mountain, which the current Something Weird listing describes as an "even more sinister" film than 2000 Maniacs, and I do tend to agree with that, as far as the original uncut print of Moonshine Mountain goes, if it is not lost.

In a recent discussion on this subject, Deeky reminded me of the "I squirted when I farted" video, and might have suggested I try asking about on Lost Media Wiki, which I am planning to do, after I push the button to finish this post.

The Mystery of Who Squirted When They Farted is the worst Three Investigators novel ever.

Deeky, apparently, ZAQB members don't have to sign up to be able to log into lost media wiki but only have to click on log in, and since I've got the link to that page, I'll check right now, and see if there has been any response on that forum yet.

Deeky, just checked, and i think that on Lost Media Wiki, "I squirted when I farted" got 20 or 30 views and so far, zero replies.
Why don't we all pray that someone on that message board will, like myself remember that ad and ordered the video and can tell us all about the video as a whole. No telling what other kind of wonders could have been portrayed in it.

Well, Deeky, 17 hours, 59 views and still not one reply. I did remember the actor playing the guy with the diarreah problem did remind me a bit of Tom Green.

I'm going to the wiki Lost Media board to add the detail I remembered that in the Squirted when I farted video, the guy with the diarrhea problem did remind me of the comedian Tom Green(e?).
Maybe that will help some of the film detectives on that message board.

Well, Deeky, on Lost Media Wiki, "I Squirted When I Farted," has been moved from the Lost Forum to the Unidentified forum, which I think it probably right and proper.
The views are up to 110, but still the only reply is my own, adding the detail that the guy with the diarrhea looked like Tom Green, which is in keeping with the board policy of do not bump your post to the top unless you do have some valid additional details that are useful.
Lost Media Wiki, at the present is my Last Hope of IDing that video and hopefully finding out more about it.
I am gratified that it has gotten 110 reads in such a short time, but disappointed that none of those 110 people knew anything to post.
I'll stick with the rules and regs and not post again just to bump it to the top, but I fear that eventually it will drop offscreen and be forgotten.
If any of you other ZAQBers want to comment on it from time to time, to keep it in view, I would appreciate your doing so, but I've given all the details I can remember.

Well, Deeky, "I Squirted When I Farted," now has 119 views on the Unidentified media Wiki lost Media Board.
And, it is still at the top of the list.
But -
It still has onlyi one reply post, my own adding about the guy with the problem looked like Tom Green.
What other message boards might be appropriate ones for asking about such a video?

Deeky, I don't know if I should like your post or not, because when I clicked on the link, I got a notice that it could not be reached. Could that question mark at the end have caused the problem? I'm going directly to Lost Media Wiki to check for any possible updates.

Back to the problem of the lost film Children of Loneliness. I probably mentioned that the Kinsey Institute should have a copy of it, but can't remember if I did a net search for it on the Kinsey Institute's search engine, or not.
The thread on that film on Lost Media Wiki is quite a few pages, and a few days ago, I did start reading it from Page one, but might have given up because of time limitations.
Just got a phone call from CVS pharmacy to pick up my prescription.
They close the pharmacy early on Sundays, and I plan to also check my blood pressure while I'm there.
So, the early pharmacy closing today also enters into my time constraints online and other places.
You Live Your Life In The Songs You Hear On The Rock N' Roll Radio . . .
Remember Mick Jagger singing "You Can't Always Get What you want?
One of the lyrics being, I can't go to the Chesea drugstore to get your prescription filled,.
I was standing in line with Mr. Gibbitts? he looked pretty ill.
I mentioned Mick Jagger to Cleavus, and Cleavus had an immediate knee jerk hissy fit:
"Mick Jagger Is From The Pit of Hell!"
I know I've probably told that one at least one time before, but how many people remember it?
Cleavus was such a delight with his "Pit of Hell" outbursts, they are a very dear memory to me, and I hope some of you other ZAQBers will also find them delightful.
