One of my all time favorite movie ads, from the old ZAQB, plus, in my next post some Unfinished Business related to this ad.

Now, to get to the Unfinished Business. In 1969 Horst Bucholtz was in an Italian film with Daniele Gaubert, titled, "How, When and With Whom" as seem om the still below from that film. At the time I first posted that still on the old ZAQB, I found a link for viewing the film but just didn't have the time to watch it. Now that I finally am able to make the time to watch the film, as Par For the Course would have it, I can't find that link. While the film is listed on IMDB, there are no reviews on that board. Can anyone help me out?

Well, Success . . .
Uh, sort of . . .
I did find the utube of "How, when and with whom," which I didn't have the time to watch some time back when I did this thread on the old ZAQB.
I clicked on the link, not planning to watch all of the film, in one sitting but at least get started.
I was surprised to find that it wasn't the entire feature, but only the opening titles and a brief scene afterwards.
Is the whole feature film online for free?
Was what I watched just a teaser to get me to watch the film pay for view?
There were only a few comments, in Italian.
Anyone on ZAQB who speaks Itlaian, and who could tell me what the comments said?
I didn't notice any English translation button.
From what I did see, it looked like a good film.
Sad to say, the director drowned while working on the film, and it had to be completed by someone else.

Back to The Empty Canvas with Catherene, Horst, and Miss Bette Davis. Patrolling the old ZAQB, I am attaching the "most shocking scene you will ever see" from The Empty Canvas. Deeky, do you remember what your response to that scene was? Attachments:

Deeky, I hope I can find that TV commercial where some man asks this kid questions, and every question the man asks, the kid replies, "nope."
Finally, he asks the kid, "can't you ever say anything but "Nope?"
To which the kid replies, "nope."
You probably remember my mentioning the commercial fairly recently.
I hopefully can eventually find that commercial.
Does anyone else remember it?
I think that Deeky and many, or even all of you other ZAQBers will like it when I do finally find it and post it here (if that ever happens).

This is one hell of a cliffhanger.

OK, Deeky, no more cliff hanging suspense. Here is the response you posted to the "most shocking" scene from The Empty Canvas.
Well, no, Deeky. You will have to go thru some more cliff hanging suspense. I thought I had your photo response on my USB device but apparently I had not saved it.
But, I will get it on here as soon as possible.

OK, Deeky, here is your reply to my posting of the most shocking scene in Empty Canvas. And, I should probably start a net search to see if I can view that entire film for free. So far I've only found excerpts. I don't remember if Webmaster Deeky included any text in response to the Empty Canvas Most Shocking Scene, or just the photo attached. Will check on that later. That is not what I was expecting. Well, Deeky, if you want to, please go back to the old board and check it out. I've printed out the contents for all the pages of the old board, and plan to make notes on which ones I read(and I plan to read all of them, at least the short ones), and save the ones that I feel are woth saving to CD for future reference. Deeky, in that photo, what country's currency is that unseen person holding in front of that guy? The writing on the shirt the guy is wearing is English. So, I'd suppose the photo was taken in an English speaking country, and the currency is that of an English speaking country. I'm going to check out the origiinal Italian title of The Empty Canvas and see if it is available, full length for free, online. I don't mind watching it in Italian, even if there are no US subtitles. I'd just like to see all 4 of the Joseph E Levine Big 4 Adult films shown at the Sunset and Skyway Drive-ins from 1963-1966. I saw Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, on TV, and just recently saw A House Is Not A Home as reported on that thread. Now, Empty Canvas and Women of the World are the 2 still left of that quartet of films for me to see. I think Women of the World might be full length for free online.

Deeky, I did a quick net search on The Empty Canvas and all that is available is some excerpts.
I also looked for it under its original Italian title,La nola, and couldn't find it.
Also tried its French title L'ennui, with no results.
It had many different titles in many different countries, so if I have to, I'll check all of them . . . probably with no results.
I did find Women of the World, on Daily Motion, so I'll start speciall thread on that title, with a link to the Daily Motion version.
As with A House Is Not a Home, it might be some time before I get around to watching it, tho.

Well, now that I have found The Empty Canvas, in its Italian version with English subgitles, I probably should watch it to complete my watching of the Joeph Levine Big 4 Adult films of 1963-1964. But, watching feature films is a chore that I don't really like to do. Meanwhile, here is another scene from The Empty Canvas. Attachments:

I'm attaching the third and final still from Empty Canvas. I mentioned finiding it online for free in the Italian language, with English subtitles, but haven't been able to find that exact link again. For the present, I'm putting seeing it, as well as discussing Joseph E Levine's Big 4 Adult films of 1963-1964 on the back burner. I don't really want to watch any feature films for awhile, altho if I could find a free online first chapter of the 1943 Batman serial, that played without any glitches I would watch it.

I don't really want to watch any feature films for awhile... Billy Anderson, reluctant movie fan. Good description of Yours Truly, Deeky. Even watching that short, compared to a feature film, but long as a serial chapter first episode of the 1943 Batman, at 26 mins, was a chore to me. I really want to watch The Empty Canvas, the only one of Joseph E Levine's Big 4 Adult films, but it has a long running time, and Yesterday Today and Tomorrow runs close to two hours, and altho I've seen it years ago, I feel like I need to see it again, to properly evaluate those 4 films, but as Dr. like Dr. Julius No in Ian Fleming's novel, I have so much to discuss (and so many films I haven't seen), and so little time . . .
