Don't knock it til you try it ;) I'm not a fan of the smell of burnt hair. During my college sophomore year in the co-op, I came home one time to find my roommate burning hair in the bathroom sink. I still don't know if it was her hair or not.
This is the same roommate that I came home to one time to find a sizeable tree stump on the bedroom floor, with knives around it. She had taken up whittling.

I know you're into heat/fire play, and wondered if you had any practical advice in the matter? Keep a fire extinguisher handy? Actually yes, fire play enthusiasts do very much keep extinguishers handy if they care about safety at all. And with fireplay, if you're playing with someone who doesn't care about fire safety, I'd run far far away. I've heard way too many horror stories from cocky people who assumed they knew what they were doing. And I mean HORROR stories. |

Anyone here ever experience kidney stones? In a lot of pain for the past few days, and whatever I have going on has caused me to miss work. Busy chugging down water and lemon juice today.

Anyone have advice on keeping the air conditioning bill to a minimum during the summer months? I'm trying out leaving the system off from about 2:30pm-to-1am (when I get home from work), and leaving it set at 75-degrees when I'm home. For a big place, it cools down quick enough, and I can't imagine it's any rougher on the system leaving it off through the worst of the day. Here is a recent article from Popular Science. |

Don't know if this is still a problem, but I had two last spring. If they're small, they'll pass on their own, but large ones will need to be blasted. The worst part for me was passing them, but the stent they put in. Basically, it felt like I had to pee every 10 minutes, and when I had to go, I had to go NOW. I eventually took to wearing adult diapers. Which I have to admit were pretty handy. It's kind of convenient to just be able to piss your pants. I'm seriously considering wearing them on a regular basis. |

I can actually enjoy some again this year (having found a milk that doesn't make me feel crappy an hour later)! I'm sure at this age I could down a box in one sitting. I think I'll try to watch a movie match for the cereal. i.e. If it's Booberry, I'll see a ghost feature; Frankenberry, a Frankenstein monster movie; Count Chocula, a vampire movie. I think last year out store didn't even carry Frankenberry, though. |

Not to veer off into politics or anything, but we all heard about the "Bigfoot porn" accusations being bandied about in connection with the primary elections this year. The article said a GOP candidate was taken to task by a Demchick for posting a photo of a naked Sasquatch on his (I think) Twitter feed.
Here's my question: I thought they were always naked. Has anyone ever taken a photo of a Sasquatch wearing clothes? |
