For this particular recipe I'm going to attempt to recreate my favorite local delivery place: Steak-umms, Cheez Whiz, onions, on a sub roll, with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise.

Having been to both Pat's and Geno's (the two legendary steak places in Philly), I can tell you you can get a comparable cheesesteak just about anywhere.

Having throughout my life been a seeker of variety, I will take the good Dr. Kobb at his word concerning Pennington's --I am uncertain if there is one true flavor, however.
While my personal taste in cheesesteaks is more on the traditionalist side (for example, hard pass on the mayo) I respect Deeky for pursuing a local recipe he enjoys more.
Somewhere in this conversation, we appear to have lost Billy A. Anderson however. I fear he may like neither Algonquin Twat nor Pennington's Cheesesteak. What's to do? |

Lemmy, there are more proposed Board Member Rankings than I can even count. It was so nice and neat and easy, that after being a Royal Anteater, which I really liked and then enduring Lesbian Ninja or Ninja Lesbian, whichever it was it was, I found it comforting and gratifying that after 100 posts with that ranking I was indifferennt toward, I would get to have 100 posts as a Shower Scene Enthusiast, which I think Dr. Kobb first attained the rank of. Back on the old board, Mr. Monster Cock was one ranking I aspired to but never attained. I had some comfort in knowing that after 100 posts as a Lesbian Ninja or Ninja Lesbian, that I would become a Shower Scene Enthusiast, but now that ranking seems to have been deleted by the Webmaster, who, like all of us lives by the Law of Do what Thou Wilt, and he has now Willed the rank of Shower Scene Enthusiast out of existence. Well and good since this is Deeky's message board to Do What Thou Wilt with. All I can say, is that none of the proposed rankings I have recently seen on this thread, really appeal to me, so for the present, I will just forget about Member Rankings, and carry out my Great Work of tracing the progress across the Carolinas and Virginia of the Playboy's Playmates drive in movie Roadshow, and the second feature showing of Moonshine Mountain at the Astor Art Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina. I've thought about posting a video of The Charlotte Fever by Kenny Price (I know that Webmaster Deeky did post a photo of the late Mr. Price in response to a mention of that great star of the Hee Haw TV show, and I intend to post the video of The Charlotte Fever here on ZAQB as soon as I can, unless someone else does it before I can do so.
