I think I've mentioned Coast to Coast AM on here, or some other message board, but after a few years of my radio being broken and not getting a new one, I am becomcing overwhelmingly nostalgic for that Radio show.
Sure, it's just as bad as Comet TV with its excessive commercials, but I still want to listen to that radio show which one very dear, but misguided member of my family warned me not to listen to, because it was "demonic," but I don't accept that.
I just want so badly to hear Coast To Coast AM Radio, again, as, like Aleister Crowley I live my life thru the nights, and not thru the days.
And, as Aeorsmith put it, my life is going by from Dusk To Dawn.
I've got to get Coast To Coast AM back into This Long Disease My Life, comfort and console me, as my numbered days move inexorably to their end.
I suppose tomorrow, after I wake up and start annother futule, wasted day in this Veil of Tears, I will go somewhere, and try to get the lowestw priced AM/FM radio that I can find.
Where could I find such a radio?
Dr. Kobb do you think Wally World would have a very low priced such radio, and what would the price range be?too
My need for Coast To Coast AM increases with each day that passes.
The bumpers to the stupid too many commercials, were good, espcially the theme song of Fireball X-L Five, and others I can't remember now.
I MUST get Coast To Coast AM radio back into my life!
And, no, I do NOT want to listen to the show over the Internet, but on an old fashioned radio!

I think you ought to be able to find a cheap radio or even some variation on a boombox at Wallyworld, Billy. Alternately, you might find some sort of smaller radio that could serve dual purposes. With hurricane season on the horizon, one of those hand-crank sorts might be available.

Here's some radios from the top of the page at the WM.com site.

Thanks for the leads, Dr. Kobb. I suppose those radios would be stocked in the store as well and not have to be ordered online?

Depends. Some are online only. It's easy to set up an account online. However, WM is still getting the hang of postal delivery, and does a shit job packaging items to protect them en route. So, I'd try your local store first.

Thanks for the reply, Dr. Kobb. I checked the net listings, and Coast to Cast AM (I've always wondered if the AM refers to its morning broadcast time, or possible AM radio stations, although I didn't notice any AM stations that broadcast it, when looking for a local station, but I wasn't thinking of that at the time.

Well, I went to Wally World, and got the radio and batteries for it, and checked the local TV station directory so early tomorrrow morning will be the firstime I've listened to Coast to Coast AM in a long time.
Looking at radio stations in various locations, it seems about half and half AM & FM that the show is broadcast over.

Well, I guess since you discovered the program plays on both AM and FM, it stands for "after midnight". Did you ever listen with the original host, Art Bell? I heard he was really good. I like Noory, but I never had the opportunity to listen to Bell, so I can't compare the two. Noory always seems polite, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. The episodes where he has this guy on are always interesting. Some of his theories on nutrition seem kooky, but he obviously knows his shit, and has the credentials to back it up. Yeah, he's hawking overpriced herbal supplements online, which seems hokey. The guests always make the show. He had two different episodes just prior to my shift change at the job about the Annunaki(sp?). Maybe I'm being too skeptical but those just seemed sort of silly. I did enjoy that one I mentioned in another thread, about the black room with mirrors placed across from each other on the walls. They made it sound like the ultimate game of "Bloody Mary".

It's been so many years since I first discovered Coast to Coast, and, yes, After Midnight is another good explanation of the show's. AM name.
Having discovered the show on the car radio After Midnight, I could never imagine listening to it during the day time.
I would say I listened to it at least as far back as 2013, but I don't remember if Art Bell was still on it then.
It does seem like I do remember Art Bell before he left the show, and George Noory came on.
Got a very low priced radio at Wally World, and didn't get it broken in until the second guest discussing the Boston Marathon murder(s?) came on, listened awhile and then turned it off.
But at least I now have the capability of listening to old friends from the past.
And, yes, there is plentyu of far fetched stuff on the show, as you noted, but on the whole I do find it interesting.

AM stands for Anal Marauder, which is also the next rank you'll see!

So far I have just not had any inspirations for good member ranking names, as I have in the past, but my past record is a good one to stand on, for example: Panty Juicer, Oreo Big Stuff,Nipple Masturbator, and how many others? I'm sure the inspiration for new member ranking names will come back to me eventually.

Early this morning, I did listen to parts of Coast to Coast AM, while, on the whole it was not all that interesting, but the musical bumpers, and the opening theme music and the voice of the host were all very comforting.
I'll keep checking the scheduule, and hopefully, some guest that really interess me will be on theshow.

They still use Giorgio Moroder's "The Chase" as the theme music?

They sure do! Or at least, did as of a few months ago (when I last tuned in).

Yes, Deeky, that is still the opening theme music. Altho the show supposedly starts at 1 AM, it actually follows a news report, and it's not until I hear that familiar music that I know Coast to Coast AM has begun.
I never knew the name of the musician or title of the composition, but, the visuals which I had not seen before, are certainly not comforting, but very unsettling, and really convey the feeling that The Conspiracy is Out To Get You.
Thanks for posting it.
