From when the band included Bobby, who (inexplicably) is apparently still a heartthrob for some. I think he's an underrated guitarist in his genre, but I never got the thing with the hair continuing to expand ever upward...

Mark Deutrom-era Melvins definitely resulted in some of my favorite of their material, and yet the Stag LP had somehow eluded me until now. And it's got some of their most psycho-delic material on it, too. Two cases in point:
