So, we're well over six months into the dog acquisition, and it's still slow going, but I "think" the dog and cat are getting along better than ever. By "getting along", Harlow is still invading Purfessor's space, but not as aggressively. She seems to want to be pals, but she outweighs the old lady cat significantly and is kind of clumsy and spastic. Cat still won't have much to do with the dog, but at least no one's getting hurt. It's also possible life really is like a Disney movie and Harlow is all in kitty's face about it, "Who's the queen bitch NOW? Huh? Yeah, I thought so."

It truly is telling that the motherfucker has absolutely no pets of any kind. No dogs, no cats, no rabbits, no hamsters, no goldfish-- not even some nasty bastard that he'd have to feed other live critters to, like a snake or centipede. |
