I might have mentioned David Dundas on some other, probably now defunct message boards, that some of you current ZAQBers were on.
I just remember radio announcers saying he recorded for Elton John's Rocket Records. i'm also wondering whatever happened to Elton John's Rocket Records?

Here's another video of "Jeans On," with some spicy visuals.

Here's another David Dundas song. I'll also see if it could have an alternate video with spicy visuals. Or if some of you other ZAQBers have gotten your appetites whetted by the on I posted previously, you might find it before I do.
In doing my net search, I did see David Dundas Obituary in the list of results, but no time right now to check it out. I can't do it all myself, the resaon I post things with questions attatched, to see if anyone else gets their interest up.

I just remember radio announcers saying he recorded for Elton John's Rocket Records. i'm also wondering whatever happened to Elton John's Rocket Records? In 1999, The Rocket Record Company was absorbed by The Island Def Jam Music Group, and it operated under IDJ's Mercury Records division. However, the logo was still used on all new Elton John releases until 2007. The name was also resurrected in 2006 for the eponymous Platinum Weird album. In 2011, John formed a company named Rocket Music Entertainment Group. The label still exists today, but now just has three newer artists signed to it, as John himself has not released a studio album on Rocket since 2004's Peachtree Road, although the 2010 one-off collaboration with Leon Russell, The Union has the Rocket logo from that time. Otherwise, Rocket are primarily a management company handling established artists such as Ed Sheeran and Squeeze's Chris Difford along with upcoming artists including Anne-Marie and Jake Issac.

Deeky, thanks for the quick response. If Rocket Records had folded wayu back in 1977, it wouldn't have surprised me.
I suppose if Rocket Record Company continued until 1999, it was successful.

When doing the net search for David Dundas, I found a listing for "David Dundas Obituary," and wondered if the singer of Jeans On and Another Funny Honeymoon was deceased.
But, born in 1945, he is still living today. In addition to a singer, he was also a film and TV actor. Married twice, son and daughter firstime, and a son from the second marriage.
His single release (was it also on an album) of Jeans On, was an expanded version of a TV commercial jingle.
The lyrics are much more understandable for Jeans On than for Another Funny Honeymoon.
Does anyone else hear him singing, "I pull my muscle jeans on," besides "I pull my old blue jeans on?"
I can't find any printed lyrics where "muscle" jeans are listed, but that is sure what it sounds like to me.
But, people do hear things differently.
I suppose I should see if I can find the original TV commercial the song came from on utube.

When was the lastime I asked the question of this new thread? I didn't come across it in my search of the Old ZAQB, or could there have been another, older ZAQB after Mesmerize that I could have asked the question on, or was the lastime I asked it on the Mez board? Well, I did a quick net search, and what I came up with is in the following link, and it is from 2014, now going into 5 years behind the times. Well, it is still "news," relatively speaking. From the photos I found on my net search, the Forlorn Rags of Growing Old have not been kind to Jesse. www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/catching-up-with-jesse-camp-172821/

On July 19, 2018, Camp was reported missing by his sister Marish to the Riverside Police Department. She stated that he had been out of contact with his family for about a week, which was unusual behavior for him, and that he was seen in Riverside around "the 11th or 12th of July". He was later seen in Fontana on July 19, when a bike patrol officer made a "pedestrian check" on Camp outside of a Sherwin Williams store, just hours before his sister reported him missing.
