Lol! Saw that earlier tonight. That could only ever happen in Orlando.

Well, thank fuck someone had the spine to do something at some point instead of just pointing their fucking devices at it.

Can we back up for a second here? The fact that he pleaded not guilty to smothering his GF in ketchup implies that it is actually illegal to do that. Even in Florida, how is there a law pertaining to this scenario?

He was charged with battery.

He was charged with battery. That's really stretching the law out of shape.

I can't say if it's the scorching heat or something in the water or what, but I can't even keep up with all the batshit news items that come out of this hellhole. No kidding. I'll be reading my phone's newsfeed on break at work, pause at some Darwin Awards crazy people story and sure enough - half the time it's from down here! Bizarre behavior happens everywhere, but we gotta be tops per capita.

Dude looks familiar, too. Not sure if I've seen him in the store or what...

I couldn't see his face due to an intrusive pop-up ad that wouldn't depopify.
It's not all Florida, though. Every state has its vile scenarios. We just passed the anniversary of a murder outside bucolic Hillsdale, MI in which a guy offed his girlfriend, cut her up with a chainsaw, cooked her down in his burn barrel and fed her to his dogs.
And today is the anniversary of the sex murder of 13-year-old Kenny Myers by local serial killer Ronald Bailey. Kenny would be 48 now if he had never crossed paths with that loser, who is still being whisked out of one prison and into another every few weeks or months because more respectable felons keep finding out what he's in for. As if this turd deserved to live.

Sorry! Pop-ups suck. I think at that site you can actually vanquish the ad with one right click and proceed to the article. It wasn't anything near as horrific as either of your accounts. Just some dumbass leaves his nude wife in the middle of the road and then torches her car. Wow, you fucking went there with yours!!! Florida crazy is usually more in the dumb-shit-people-do category for gruesomeness.

Yes. A discussion called "Pure Michigan News" would be a whole different flavor.

Yeah! Or Wisconsin? When folks go off the rails up there, they get downright terrifying.
