Watched an X-FILES episode last night that was new to me, "Maia Agua." It was set in Florida and when Scully and Mulder explained what they were doing to a sheriff's deputy, he shook his head and said "All the nuts roll down to Florida..."
This is the episode to watch if you need some Lovecraftian tentacles in your evening, BTW.

It was set in Florida and when Scully and Mulder explained what they were doing to a sheriff's deputy, he shook his head and said "All the nuts roll down to Florida..." This is the episode to watch if you need some Lovecraftian tentacles in your evening, BTW. A personal favorite as well. The X-Files was also an important step on the path towards TV becoming more visually cinematic and that one was a good example of the aesthetic they had established. |
