Watched an X-FILES episode last night that was new to me, "Maia Agua." It was set in Florida and when Scully and Mulder explained what they were doing to a sheriff's deputy, he shook his head and said "All the nuts roll down to Florida..."
This is the episode to watch if you need some Lovecraftian tentacles in your evening, BTW.

Watched an X-FILES episode last night that was new to me, "Maia Agua." It was set in Florida and when Scully and Mulder explained what they were doing to a sheriff's deputy, he shook his head and said "All the nuts roll down to Florida..." This is the episode to watch if you need some Lovecraftian tentacles in your evening, BTW. A personal favorite as well. The X-Files was also an important step on the path towards TV becoming more visually cinematic and that one was a good example of the aesthetic they had established.
