So you've missed Pinhead at a rave with Lance Henricksen. You fool! It's on Hulu, but it is just a movie, not a show. Ah, thank you. Is it worth a look? I think I've only ever seen the first three Hellraisers, and they were all a long time and many brain cells ago. How many Hellraiser films are there now? Eight? Nine?

Honestly it was just a run-of-the-mill horror movie. Not sure what the remake/reboot did to expand on the original. 🤷♂️

I was actually just thinking about that myself. My guess would be that, because this was before Freddy became an instantly recognizable figure, it was probably an artist's somewhat abstract idea of what he might look like. Remember, posters used to be artier back then. Yeah, and I recognize that particular artist for a number of posters for movies in that era, even though I didn't know their name, that style is inimitable. Like they were wildly popular and then...poof. I don't know? It's a longshot, but that "might" be the same artist who did the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" poster art(?).
I don't know if they're all the same poster art illustrator or not, but here's one with a similar style.

This may have been the first horror movie I saw in the theater.

This was a decent whodunnit/horror. It's interesting because there's a first act, and then the second act is basically the first through the eyes of other characters, which all leads up to a thrilling finish.
Sorry, only poster I could find in my usual places. Not sure if it's meant to be cut off like that. It kind of fits once you know the plot. Lots of sneaking around and spying on people.

Lisa A 14 year-old girl taunts a serial killer. How was that? I downloaded it, but haven't given it a look yet. It was surprisingly coherent, well-made, and thoughtfully fun. Not at all what I was expecting.

Predators humans are taken to a jungle planet to be hunted for sport. How was it? Are there native predators besides the Predators? Specifically man-eating flora? I think that's something that's sorely missing in today's movies.

My recent view was "The Incubus" (1981), which was the exact diametric opposite of "coherent, well-made, and thoughtfully fun".

Didn't this one have the uber-predators? Yes. Predators hunting Predators plus humans and those yakdogs.

It was just copied from the paperback jacket, which was on the newsstands before any of the characters were associated with specific actors. I assume it was supposed to look like someone's idea of Danny Torrance because the face doesn't look old enough to be Jack or Wendy.

Have you followed my advice and watched DISTRICT 9 yet? It's a fairly unusual mixture of disturbing and thought-provoking. Is that the one about the bug people made to live in a ghetto by the humans? Haven't seen it, but it seemed a little too heavy-handed and obvious from its premise. PRAWN people, not bugs at all! It wasn't heavy-handed in my eyes, and it left such a mark that A) I have never been able to watch it again after all this time and B) when I was watching an episode of Dr. G on my phone they pointed the camera at the sign that said she is a medical examiner for District 9 and it gave me a prawn flashback.

Still no "District 9" here.
However, I did finally get around to "Nest of the Cuckoo Birds" (1965) late last night. It's not a "good" movie, but it's a fascinating one.
