I am sure I can force myself to part with an '80s horror paperback or two. Although some of them are pretty gory and/or nudity-y. I don't want to warp any minds. Not where I can't watch it happening, anyway. Oh, and also, there's that ray I'm working on, but that's really more of a "massage the mind into blissful submission" thing than a warping thing.
Thank you! Library babe is pleased with this decision.
Anything's fine. I might enjoy those 80's horror paperbacks before they make it to the box. Anyway, my appreciation if you get a chance to do it. I've still been regularly visiting my PO Box all through the pandemic. I know for a lot of people, they might have a hard time recalling when they last stepped inside a Post Office, but it's the best option, since you can inform the clerk you wish to send your books "Media Mail" rate. It's lots cheaper. Just gotta make sure the box or whatever you send it in is stout.

You guys are the best!
Um, just as a heads-up: I don't think I can put any Chuck Tingle in there. Turns out the kids love it, even though I tried to post the book box out of their grubby little reaches.
Keep an eye out for people dumping their copy of "50 Shades of Grey" in exchange for something readable as well...
Yeah, anything 'R'-rated or above is out. I had quite a few 'R' movies I was considering putting in there. I don't want some parent to come banging on my door, asking me why I thought it was a good idea putting "Assault on Precinct 13" or "The Descent" out there where their kids might watch them.

Just re-upped my year's sub to Fortean Times. Not cheap, but so worth it.

And I went ahead and grabbed that up. Smaller than expected, but still a hilarious gem.

Haven't had a decent crack at it yet, but looks lovely. Was surprised how it delves into comic books and movie posters, too. I was anticipating mostly shudder pulps like Weird Tales. Even has some work by artist Mark Maddox, who has been to every Pensacon thus far.

This showed up at my house unexpectedly, wrapped in Christmas paper. I may have asked this before, but do you have a 'favorite' serial killer? That is, one you find more intriguing than most?
