I was just reminded of this and it always gives me a little smile. This famed female serial killer I'm reading about, Jane Toppan, changed to that from her original name: Honora Kelly. Honora Kelly was also the name of a really bad middle-school teacher of mine who made a point of treating me like shite in front of the other kids, encouraging them to bully me further.

I learned today that nearby Fowlerville High has a Tractor Day event. All the seniors are allowed to drive farm equipment to school: tractors, combines, backhoes, harvesters, you name it. OMG it really is Hooterville out here.
