They taught that grace was God's ultimate nature, and that the surest route to divine favor was therefore to develop an impressive resumé of creatively grave sins for him to forgive. |

I think that line came from a different theological stream. The idea was that for everything holy there is something unholy, and THAT is the essence of temptation. And that WAS a line from The Omen.
