I owned a high-percentage wolfdog for six years (the "dog" part of his ancestry may have been a legal fiction). Nothing wrong with being a wolf. Less dangerous than most humans, in fact. |

A friend of mine had a half-wolf who was a very nice guy.
I was so.puzzled by the Norwegian camp's husky in John Carpenter's THE THING -- how did they get him to behave that way? -- but all was explained when they said he was a half a wolf like Moonpie was.

I used to be able to reach into Voo's mouth and take food out of it, if he'd gotten into something he wasn't supposed to. I'm actually less afraid of wolves than I am of dogs --funny how that part sticks, even now. |
