And, I like your reference to Spike Jones. Over on Classic Horror Films Board Forums, I had hoped to create some controversy by quoting Parker Anderson saying that Spike Jones was not a "Legendary" musician.
However, I didn't get one single rebuttal to Parker's statement.
I think that Spike has a place in bad taste humor equal to that of Brother Dave Gardner, Larry Amaros* and many others who might not be all that well remembered today.
*Whatever Happened to Larry Amoros? Wonder how far his career got? Saw him probably two times, first on Night Flight on USA TV ca early 1980s.
