Those were all great, but several (if not all) were from previous Halloweens. Here's Wemby's 2024 costume. Kid's French but obviously loves our Halloween festivities.

364 days until Halloween!
I just got an email from a co-worker. She asked if I was OK since she drove past a local funeral home on her way home to a Samhain party and saw my name on the sign.
Looks like my good twin finally kicked the bucket.

364 days until Halloween! I just got an email from a co-worker. She asked if I was OK since she drove past a local funeral home on her way home to a Samhain party and saw my name on the sign. Looks like my good twin finally kicked the bucket. And counting! Got nearly everything up and packed away in about two and a half hours today after a late start. Happy to say there's still room up in the loft and should be ample room for the giant props on the shed floor tomorrow. I "might" even hit Spirit Halloween tomorrow for half-off bargains. Probably just small stuff like makeup effects and maybe a cool ghost they had if there's any left. Also, I think I have a yard plan for years to come (with slight variations).
It was all-in-all a great October here.

My sister brought over a big bag of candies my niece had purchased intending to give out for Halloween. The tootsie rolls I can probably finish off myself by next Halloween, but the rest aren't my kind of candies. They have Oct 2025 expiration dates on them. If I left them in my fridge all year until next Halloween, would it be cool to give out? Or should we just call it a loss and toss them?
