That sounds a lot like something from Cloud Ten Pictures, an evangelical film company that churned out a lot of absolute garbage in the early 2000s. That would be where I'd start looking. No significant hits for Cloud Ten Pictures --though Gary Busey in a cut-rate Left Behind-ish movie seems promising... The LaLonde brothers, though...might be able to do some more tracking through them.
PsychotronicJeebusGrindhouse films... I might have to get interested in "bad" movies again.
Actually, I kid. I never stopped being interested

Actually, I kid. I never stopped being interested Sometimes you get the best of both in a director like Ron Ormond. He did sleazy exploitation flicks in the 60's into the 70's, converted, and did at least a couple of tee-totally bonkers Christian flicks.

Just found a gorgeous print of one of Billy's (and my) favorites, 1971's "Bless the Beasts and Children".

I am an absolute nut for those novelty horror songs like "Purple People Eater" and "Monster Mash". What I wasn't aware of until maybe a decade or so ago was just how many of those (often one-hit) wonders there actually are out there. Since maybe 2010 or so, I've found terrific collections of such songs among the newsgroups. After snagging several, I noticed a bit of overlap, song-wise, across albums. So, I figured I'd found about as much of that sort of fare as was available, until earlier today, when I discovered a three CD set of even more horror and Halloween-themed tunes from that mainly-60's heyday!
I'm sorry. That was a long read to just say I found some new music. I'm just so happy to find out there's even more I can listen to on the ride into work all next month. I'd burned out on the other collections.

Found a three CD collection called "I'm a Freak Baby: A Journey Through the British Heavy Psychedelic and Hard Rock 1968-1973" and I'm in jam heaven.

Slight correction to the above:
It's actually a three-set collection, each with three CDs each! Some of it is almost laughable, but most of it is great. Sounds best loud.

Not a Juggalo, but I'd kind of like to see this "United States of Insanity" documentary about the Insane Clown Posse's fight to be removed from the FBI's terrorist group labeling.

Have you guys heard about this recently rediscovered George Romero flick "The Amusement Park"? I guess he made it back in 1975 for the Lutherans(?). It's only about an hour, but apparently this poor old guy's visit to the amusement park goes from bad to worse to nightmarish. I'm excited.

Was listening to NPR's "Fresh Air" on the drive back across the bridge from Mom's earlier and they brought up a show called "Schmigadoon" on AppleTV. It's a satire of the exact kinds of old 40's/50's musicals I've been watching at Ma's, and now I gotta see it. Just downloaded the first season.

I mainly want to see that because Cecily Strong is in it. She's amazing on SNL.
