Anyone have an idea where this sleazy image might have originated? Asking for a friend. No really this time.

I just found out that they're rebooting White Collar, a show that was part of the USA network's '00s-era spate of "blue sky" programming (hearkening back to such purely fun fare from my youth as Magnum, P. I., The A-Team, etc.), which included such comparatively lighter shows as Monk, Burn Notice and Royal Pains.
White Collar was all about Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer), a professional conman (the kind who actually works at his craft, as opposed to slapping his name on steaks, vodka and fake degrees), who, having been caught by FBI Agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay), accepts early release to become a consultant for Burke's white collar crime division team, all the while dancing along the edge of acceptable behavior.
I always thought White Collar had something special to it, partially because it made such good use of location shooting in New York and also because it unashamedly celebrated the idea that being an aesthete is actually a good thing. Caffrey doesn't just steal art because it's valuable; he does it because he appreciates it, along with other pleasures like fine wine.
The only two downsides to this are a) it's probably going to air on Hulu, meaning I may be forced to subscribe for at least a little while, and b) Neal's quirky conman partner Mozzie, played by Willie Garson, can't be in it because Garson is no longer among the living, although the showrunner has promised that the new run would include a nice tribute to him.

Christina Lindberg is still with us. Was looking for some other data online the other day and was a tad surprised to find that out.

I just learned that someone wrote a novel about an ancestor of mine. I asked for it for Squidmas.

I just discovered that there's a TV show called Buried in the Backyard (2018-) that "examines true-crime stories of victims found buried in the least suspicious places." How delightfully morbid.

The Orlando Magic have had back-to-back games in Los Angeles facing the Clippers and Lakers last couple of nights. The reason I'm posting about it here is - there's been this woman who looks like some ancient Indian medicine woman spotted in the stands both games. I don't have a save of her and the camera zooms past fans concentrating on the game, but she just looks so out-of-place in a sports venue. I'm dying to know what her deal is.

The BFI just put out a restoration of a lost film by the writer of "The Blood on Satan's Claw" called "The Outcasts" and I would very much like a look.
