I've been all over this message board, discussing all kinds of things in the wrong places, and I don't think we've had a thread on this topic on the new ZAQB.
The lasts chedk I Made on Lost edia Wiki, was within the last half hour, and there were still only two replidx, both by myself, and 263 views.
I think that the moderators of Lost Media were correct to move the video of the guy saying, "I Squirted When I Farted," from Lost to Unidentified, because if it were identified, it might very well not be a lost video.
Also, I don't think the emphasis should be on Farting, but on Accidents, or Diarrhea although I'm sure there would be just as many entries resulting from those 2 topics as there are on Farting Videos.
Also, the time frame for such a net search should be narrowed, as well as the time of day that the commercial aired (late night cable TV, possibly MTV).
I'll start checking to see if there are any search engines or message boards for Unidentified Videos.

I think if anyone had you'd have let us know. 284 views so far, Deeky, and no one has posted saying they remember it. And, yes, if anyone ever does do such a post, I will definitely let everyone on the board know about it. Who was the guy that did Tyler In The Shower? I suppose that message board might be the right place to ask Whatever happened to whatever that filmaker was, and also, Since the only place I know that Tyler In the Shower was available for viewing was u-tube, and that filmaker and his films are now gone from u-tube, we can say that the filmaker and all of his other u tubes are lost, along with Tyler in the Shower, until, and unless someone comes up with some answers. Of course, since membership on ZAQB gives us all dual membership in Lost Media Wiki, anyone else who wants to can ask about the guy who interviewed Tyler in the Shower, and whatever happened to him, and his films. If nobody else does it, I'll do it myself, when I find the time, but with this week a total waste, as far as earning my next paycheck goes, it's not too late, but I've got to get on to work, and will be busy all this weekend, getting caught up, so little time for net surfing for the present. |

Deeky, I spent a very very long time surfing thru the Images listings for those and other such TV shows and movies. I think that simply searching for a guy asking to use peoples' bathrooms because "I squirted when I farted," is probably the wrong approach. What I really need to do is a net search for commercials shown late night on MTV and / or Comedy Central in the late 1990s and early 2000s. |

There was some old TV commercial where some lady got the final word, saying, "that makes sense."
Was that one for Philips Milk of Magnesia?
While Lost Media Wiki is not perfect, and there could be other similar message boards, I think I'll give them a try on whatever happened to the guy who made the Tyler in the Shower, as well as the TV commercial where the kid says nothing but nope. And the Gillette Techmatic Razor Band commercial with the man with 3 different heads and 3 different beards and the song ending with "we've learned to adjust, you see."
I'm sure there are message boards specializing in TV commercials, which might be more helpful than pursuing diarrhea message boards. And, while that diarrhea board that Deeky posted the link to was probably fictional, I'm sure there are probably some diarrhea message boards and/or web pages that discuss the disease seriously rather than a joke.
While I'm sure that guy going to all those peoples' houses asking to use their bathrooms, were real people, and amateurs and not professional actors and actresses, I'm also sure they did get paid to participate in the show.

I posted my idea of doing a search of commercials on late night TV shows 1996-200? to the Lost Media Wiki board, and altho the total views are now up to 343, the only replies to that thread have been updates by myself.
Deeky, as soon as I log out of ZAQB, I will do a net search on Tom Green Prank videos.

Deeky, I don't know why, since I said the guy asking to use people's bathrooms looked like Tom Green, that I didn't think that it probably was Tom Green himself who was playing that prank on people.
But, sometimes people overlook the obvious.
I went to Tom Green Show on u-tube, and found that he had a lot of compilations, and commercials for those compilations could have been the ad I saw the "Squirted when I farted" prank.
I started with The Best of Tom Green compilation FFng thru it, and didn't find what I was looking for.
Of course, if it is in a compilation, then it had to have had a first run, and possibly it could be located first run rather than in a compilation.
I need to get some data on how many Tom Green compilations there were as well as how many first run shows there were.
And, what years the show ran.
I think his show is probably very likely where I saw that prank all those years ago.
I suppose the best thing to do is ask him on u-tube since he has a place where he requests veiwer input.
But, I am not a member of u-tube with posting rights.
But, I do think that after years of searching for this video, I might be on the right road to finding it.
Thanks for possibly pointing me in the right direction.
