I learned while clearing junk mail out of a little-used email acct that I clean missed National Candy Month (June) and National Friends Day (July 30th). The fact that my hatching day has been associated with a drivelous human television program featuring a talentless cast depicting the lives of twentysomething yuppie bobos makes me want to accelerate our plans to wipe out your planet and every species on it  Wait, it's about the TV show? I thought I was supposed to pretend I had friends. |

Now this is obscure as hell. I was driving home last night thru obscure Howell, Michigan and noticed that almost all the women on the sidewalks were dressed as witches -- some fabulously so, some more unfortunately. I saw pickup trucks driven by men disgorging more witches who joined the mass. Some were in ordinary clothing with just a glittery witch-hat hairband or something; some were in full Victorian Goth regalia with laced corsets, horizontally striped stockings and proper witch shoes; one was just wearing black leggings and a black hoodie but when her hair moved in the wind I could see the hoodie was printed with a Ouija board. I just remembered to look it up and apparently it was Witches' Night Out. A client I talked to later said he was so distracted by the witches that he got a moving violation out of this VERY obscure holiday.
You'd think I'd know about this one. Not only have I worked in that town since 1993, but it's my birthday for pete's sake.
