Hrmph. You would be dismissive on:
King Tut Day
Check Your Blood Pressure Day
Hindu Diwali Day - date varies
Men Make Dinner Day - first Thursday of Month
Use Your Common Sense Day

Diwali is actually massive --probably more people celebrate it worldwide than there are in the United States...

The site where I find these is undoubtedly a U.S.-centric place. Its Indian counterpart would likely feature July 4th as an "obscure holiday".

They literally did an entire Diwali episode of The Office ten years ago.

Chaos Never Dies Day
World Freedom Day
Young Readers Day (second Tuesday of month)

Young Readers Day (second Tuesday of month) The "Scott's Tots" episode might count.

Good to have a day for the squidlets. It certainly was Absurdity Day here. I don't know what goes beyond absurdity, but I have a hunch I'll be finding that out as the work week plays out.

I learned that Nov 17th was World Prematurity Day. I'm not sure that's something to celebrate, frankly.

December 8th is International Brownie Day. VERY odd coincidence that hours before I heard this on the radio I got a wild hair and sent someone I don't like a brownie recipe.

Was it the kind of brownie recipe you'd send to someone you don't like*, or was it an actually delicious brownie recipe?
i.e. - "Dear Louis DeJoy, Please enjoy this holiday brownie treat: Whip a small bowl of gelignite together with a tablespoon of nitro glycerin. Next, wrap a box of rusty thumbtacks around a fuse, insert in rectum, and light. From my family to yours during this holiday season. Rejoice, you malignant shitbag."

It was delicious. Not a DeJoy recipe at all. I wouldn't give that guy a glass of water if he were drowning

It's National Noodle Ring Day tomorrow (December 10th). I can't believe it's been a whole year since last Noodle Ring Day.
