I swear, the sheer enthusiasm of dogs for whatever they're doing is enough to turn your day around. At first I'm thinking, Look at that lovable goofball getting so caught up in chasing the ball! and then I realize she's the one with her priorities straight.

I let Harlow out for a few minutes leashless yesterday while we were building the giant scarecrow prop in the yard. She did okay. Was obviously nervous and barking at the new visitor in the yard.
So I thought I'd see how she'd do off her leash today, since I knew my sisters were coming over in a matter of minutes. Man, troublemaker took off, almost got herself run over, and I had to yell as she tried to cross the street after her near miss to visit my neighbor's dog.
So no more unleashed time in the foreseeable future.

Amazing little guy. We were shooting hoops one time at a park and a stray little guy that might have been a similar breed would chase the basketball on missed shots like he was herding it. Was too cute watching it barrel uphill bonking the ball with it's head. |

Poor Harlow is having a week. I've been in full yard haunt mode, which means me walking around the house, stopping when I think of something else I need, reversing course, heading outside, back in long enough to turn back around. Repeat. She's like, "What the heck is WRONG with you?!?"
