Unfortunately not. Kind of a mess. Even Russell Crowe playing "Russell Crowe" couldn't save it. Does it have anything to do with "The Pope's Exorcist"? Weird how he keeps getting roles in exorcism movies.

I am still just reveling in these old The Night Gallery episodes. That's pretty much been my viewing every night. I've enjoyed them all (even the weaker ones) and when they're good they're oh so good. A couple from the previous evening that stood out include "The Phantom Farmhouse" and "The Devil is Not Mocked". I'm aware these would probably seem creaky and have zero appeal to anyone under 30, but they are so very cozy for me. These kids have no idea what they're missing. And they probably couldn't care either. When your current horror icons are Jigsaw and Art the Clown, these old TV anthology horrors would seem pretty tepid, I imagine.
I have to say, while The Night Gallery tales generally aren't as quality as The Twilight Zone ones, they do a great job of showing the full range of horror storytelling.

Weird how he keeps getting roles in exorcism movies. No connection. My understanding is that The Exorcism was made in 2019 and was shelved. I'm guessing they finally released it to capitalize on The Pope's Exorcist's success.

Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes (2020) - I'd seen it before, but the guru hadn't and it's such a great time travel flick.

Sinister A washed-up writer finds a serial killer's home movies. I wonder how many sequels that's up to now.

My PC had a Windows update yesterday. So, it and the Smart TV are not currently on speaking terms. Thus, I was not able to view my Night Gallery last yesterday evening and settled for the Rifftrax version of "The Brainiac".

Fright Night That's always a fun one. That one is indeed a fine rewatch. Did I ever tell you the story of how I pissed off the director during a panel discussion at Pensacon? Fun times.

Only myself this time. Bored with how the line of questions was going, I made the assertion that it was a toss up between the 1940's or 1990's for worst horror movie decade, and Holland didn't appreciate the opinion of some nobody (and rightfully so, although I hold to my assertion).

Hard to argue with because I can't even think of any horror movies that came out in the 1990s.
