To paraphrase a Flight of the Conchords joke, I got this at a pawnshop in the futures. View AttachmentWe're going to put that to good use.

Dude went went from pretty twink to hot daddy. And then he became a pincushion. He certainly had range.

This really nice bar soap from Shoe Station of all places. They had about 6-8 scents. I picked this one (it smells better than the name might imply).
And what scent is that?

And what scent is that? Spiced Tobacco. I know it doesn't sound nice...

Spiced Tobacco. I know it doesn't sound nice... I can see that. Like the smell of a really nice tobacco store, the ones where they sell pipes and expensive cigars, but not cigarettes.

That's actually uncannily accurate, Mayzshon. I used it once, and now it's sitting on the soap dish by the sink, making the whole bathroom smell nice.

You guys ever been in a hookah lounge*? I haven't, but was wondering if the aromas are at all similar.
*The strictly tobacco sort.

It's soap. But it's DELICIOUS soap. It's changed the way I think about showering. If it were edible, it would be like dining at a Michelin-tier restaurant.*
*Actually, I have zero idea what that is like. I'm fairly sure I've never eaten at a Michelin-approved restaurant. There's one or two maybe, many years ago...

I've been on a bit of a spending spree of late, and one of my purchases is something that might only come in handy once-a-decade, but it still feels good to finally have one of my own. It's a portable charger for phones and laptops. Holds up to six full chargings for handhelds. Obviously, a useful gadget to have for trips or camping. Since I rarely do either anymore, it's here mainly in case of the long power outages caused by hurricanes. So, as I say, might prove handy this year, or might be another decade down the road. Granted, by then we'll all probably be forcibly Neurolinked...

Interesting! I finally broke out the "spiced tobacco" bar I mentioned last post on the previous page (14) and it is sublime! I don't know what your preferred fragrances are, but one of my sisters wears scents more often associated with men's colognes rather than the more floral scents commonly associated with women's perfumes. I might actually buy her a man bar or two as small gifts.

I love men's fragrances like English Leather and Aqua Velva when I can't get the right kind of women's scentsations, like Lolita Lempicka or just oil of violets.

Spiced Tobacco. I know it doesn't sound nice... I looked this up. The ad is hilarious, but it does sound like a delicious scent. They're not giving it away for free, though. $10 a bar, man! I do notice that it's a whopping 10-oz serving of soapy goodness, though. A bar of original Dove is $2.79 for a little over 3 oz.

Yeah, it seems pricey at first glance, but you're getting over three regular bars-worth of quality soap. Works out to a good deal.
