Yeesh. This glorified boombox stereo system I purchased like two months ago is already misreading my CD's. Fucking Chinese crap.

Fortunately, I'd already downloaded that album prior to your graciously sending the disc. Also fortunately, I still have the smaller desktop stereo, which I just plugged back in. Not sure what to do with the shit boombox just yet. Might go full Office Space on it.

Someone online mentioned vanished beauty products and I got thinking of Max Factor's wonderful Green Apple cologne. 🍏 Looked for some equivalent and found a Green Apple roll-on. It just came and while it doesn't roll on very well and comes in a tube rather than that wonderful green-apple-shaped spray bottle, the fragrance is exactly the same. I just scent for 4 more.

This doohickey which will (hopefully) put an end to my connectivity issues between the PC and Smart TV. I already had one, but it didn't support 5GHz, so fingers crossed.

Not vanished, since I see it every time I go into CVS, but this reminds me that apparently there's some makeup brand called "Vichy"? And it boggles my mind whenever I see the display, because that name had to go through multiple layers of approval, and apparently no one at any point was like, "Hey, guys, uh..."

I just constantly find myself really wanting to present myself as a marketing guy pitching a new logo, then go into the meeting, just straight up show them a swastika, and be like, "Eh?! What do you guys think? Looks great, right?"
"I also think your employees could use some new uniforms. Who should design these uniforms, you ask? Well, have you ever heard of a very talented fellow by the name of Hugo Boss?"

Happy to update the above post about the Wi-Fi range extender to say that it seems to have solved my connectivity issues across the house.

God, Nugenix is so obviously the name of the evil corporation in a biopunk movie.

Nobody will notice." I totally get why the name isn't the best idea. That said, the city of Vichy, France, has been associated with mineral baths, hot springs, etc., for about two millennia now. Wild guess, since I've never seen the stuff, but I'd bet on a French parent company and "all natural" ingredients. I suspect here in the States, some sliver of the population gets the fascist association and the rest are ignorant. In Europe it's likely many consumers think of the city first and kind of mumble mumble past Petain. Also, fun fact: Apple autocorrect tries to render "France" as "Franco"

For some reason I read the above as "Apple autocrat".

Doesn't change that I want to pitch them a perfume fragrance called Collaboration.
