R.I.P. Purfessor. Despite a permanent case of resting bitch face, you were such a sweet, dear friend. I guess I can tell you now, but no matter how pissed off you looked, that happy purring always gave you away. I hope our souls meet again someday. Unless I come back as a bird or something. You were hell on the bird population while you were here. My condolences.

Did you find kitteh, or did you give up on finding kitteh? I was clearing out my flower beds in the front of the house today, and hauling bags of grotty pinestraw down to the curb. Kept catching strong whiffs of something dead in the azaleas. While I couldn't find her exact spot, I'm 99% sure it was Purfessor.

It could easily be something Purrfessor did away with. You know, like the headless mice on my living-room floor. Small corpses, big fragrance.

At least you can give her a proper funeral now.

It was always her yard, and now she is one with it. I actually never intended on having a cat again after having to give up my void Toiva when I left Georgia. But Purfessor was here, and such a dear companion.* She was a great kitty about not knocking things off of tables like some cats seem to love doing. Amazingly graceful, too. She nailed landings like a gymnast. Man, she'd nag at you, though. I'd get an earful every night about something.
It was so cute how she'd follow along with me if I walked the yard at night. Like it was a military inspection to see if she was doing her job keeping the yard perimeter secure.
I'll miss her frowny mug. I swear, no more cats. My old heart can't take it.
*When she wasn't puking on the carpet or shitting next to my head.

I used this sculpture by my late Uncle Calvin as a grave marker for Purfessor. I found out after the fact that you're not supposed to bury your pets in your front yard. No way I was going to plant her in the back where the dog constantly digs.

I'll be damned if I'm paying that much, but this shirt is still cute.

I'll be damned if I'm paying that much, but this shirt is still cute. $10 - $14 seems a fair price for a t-shirt. Anything above that is too much.

Well, most tee's seem to be in the $20+ range these days, but I'll be damned if I'd pay twice that (like above), no matter how clever the shirt. Granted, that one has a pocket with some extra stitching involved...

Yeah, I just ordered ten through an online place I've used for years. Came to about $11-$12-per shirt with shipping. Here's one of them:
