Same here, Kobb. She sounds like she was quite a cat.
In other news, the hot, dry Santa Ana winds were huffing and puffing when I woke up this morning. As I got ready for work I noticed that a couple of my kitties failed to make their morning appearance to glare at me. I feared the wind had been strong enough to dislodge a window screen and they'd gotten out. But all the windows were OK.
Turns out the wind was strong enough to force open the door to my linen closet just long enough for a few brat cats to get in the closet before the door slammed shut, locking them in. But wait, there's more. The access to my attic is in the linen closet, and I still have a ladder in there from my Roof Hijinks from last winter. So when I opened the closet door I saw little cat faces looking down at me from the attic, all innocent and shit. They almost looked guilty jumping down via the ladder single file.
