Less than a week to go!
Man, this is like a prototype for an S. Clay Wilson piece, especially having demons cavorting with that pirate-looking motherfucker on the left.
Right? I feel like he had to have seen some of these when he was a kid to produce such over-the-top material during his underground comics days.

Here's a fun homage to all those cheesy magazine and comic book ads I used to marvel at when I was a kid.

Did the right cup of her water bra burst, and it was filled with raspberry jam?

Or, did somebody just stick a dildo in a Jack-o'-Lantern? You need to take a closer look at that picture. 😬😆😏

If memory serves, she was from an ad for a "disappearing ink". Sort of the reverse of "invisible ink".

This year's yard haunt. It looks pretty cool at night with the various effects lights. I had much more grandiose plans for the house and yard, but the weather's been uncooperative through the entire month of October. From what the forecast is reading, this Halloween is officially rained out. Regardless, I put this stuff up in the yard as a sort of salute to all things scary and creepy, as I do every Halloween season these days.

The forecast calls for rain here on Thursday. I imagine I won't get too many trick-or-treaters.

I have serious doubts we'll see any trick-'r-treaters either. However, it currently looks like these three days of rain will be tapering off 3pm Halloween night. That's good enough to where I'll be going ahead and running extension cords out to all the effects lighting I already have placed round the yard while it's still light out. Basically, it's showtime regardless of whether anyone comes a'knockin' that night.

Forecast for rain here too. I'm not sure how heavy. They've held the Village Parade in light rain before, but I don't know what the situation will be this year.
Some holidays always seem to get good weather around here, but Halloween has been rained on a number of times in recent years.

I joined a message board called Halloween Forum earlier this year. It's for all fans of Oct 31st, but mainly has a lot of yard haunters sharing ideas, tips, and tricks. Almost unanimously, folks all over the country are bemoaning the shit weather slated for their areas this year.
But the first think I saw when I logged on there this AM was this, so there's still hope:

If your October's been anything like here, I can't blame you.
