In the past two months, I've written two full songs and a good part of another. (Recording them is another bag of marshmallows, but I may be able to finish one of them by the end of the month.) I'm also close to done with the lyrics for another collaboration with Deeky, so there's that as well.

Foolish as it is to announce your plans to fate, I have vowed that I will do my goddamnedest to get the next WW EP out by the end of the year, which is ambitious, because it's going to be six songs. However, two of the songs are largely already complete, three of the others are close to if not fully written (and one of them is a hair away from fully recorded) and I have a good idea for the sixth that should be pretty easy to put together. And I already have artwork in mind as well.
I'm even going to be so brazen as to list the songs. Fuck you, fate!

I've found it super helpful to give myself a schedule. It keeps me from dawdling. Sometimes it's a lot if pressure, but overall it's been a good tactic for me.

I got it in my fool head two nights ago that yes, I could conceivably pump out a Halloween issue if I hurry and force this just finished one out ASAP.  |

For what it's worth, I could use two voices. There's another short line that I was going to do, but I'd rather have someone else do it if I can. You could record this on your phone, in fact, since it's voices over street noise, the phone might even work better.
The two lines are:
"The safest way to steal a beach is one grain at a time."
"God is a toothless, waterproof hog!"
The latter is line I found in the early part of a notebook I've had for a while. I have no idea what I was thinking about when I wrote that.

Much appreciated and very good! Having trouble deciding which takes to use, in fact.
As I imagine is apparent, fate won this round (assuming fate was actually actively betting against me, which seems unethical). The new EP will, in fact, have a 2024 release date. But I'm only partially sorry; the due date did spur me to work on it a hell of a lot. Part of the problem is something that is always part of the problem, to wit, I come up with a "simple" idea that I ultimately realize needs a lot more care than I had anticipated.

Deeky and Mayz, you guys are playing a trio of strolling philosophers (yes, a trio, Deeky recorded two lines, so I decided to make him twins), so I am offering youse guys the opportunity to choose your character's names. Should you wish to. No obligation whatsoever. But I do need to know soon either way.
Also, you are currently credited as The Deeky Twins and Mayzshon, but you can choose alternate handles if you want. I could even use your real names (if you want to be kinky).
