Thought I'd misplaced my bank card. Possibly forgotten to take it out of the teller machine when I made this morning's cash run.
Found it in the space between the screen door and the house door where I'd dropped it.
Not much, but for 2020, it'll do.

Back on the job after taking ten days off. FINALLY
...is something that I will never ever be excited about saying.

Not much, but for 2020, it'll do. Near-misses like that are exasperating, and yet quite stimulating when the good part arrives.

With Liz Phair?

That's my assumption.

Nope, with the woman from Chicago who was a big Liz Phair fan (still is for all I know). The whole sordid business probably would have fit into Exile in Guyville, though. A. eventually remarried some Microsoft cat in Seattle. My ex- is currently on husband #4. I met Mrs. Caution and haven't looked back --just had moments with irritating reminders recently.

So Arizona didn't really turn blue in the last election.
Today the NY Times reminded me that as soon as the administrative stuff is sussed next February, Arizona is definitely turning green.
Welcome, oh 2021.

New Jersey is as well, which means that even if New York doesn't any time really soon (although there's now a better chance of that too), it will be a mere PATH ride to Hobokensterdam when supplies run low.

I did my best job yet with the holiday lights here at the house today. I don't give the holiday lighting a third the energy I put into Halloween, but a couple of hours at it came out nice.

Got great holiday greetings from Killer Goldfish and Freeky Deeky! Thank you both for taking the time to send out cards. They are on display right as you enter the labs!
I fumbled on getting any greetings out (again) this year. I think it was like five years since I had my act together enough to send some greeting cards out. That's really awful because I love getting them. So, that's going to be my resolution for 2021: I will do my damnedest to send holiday greetings next December.

It's bonkers how fucked up the mail is right now. Cards have reached as far as California and Florida, but somehow getting to my BFs in town has yet to happen.
