It's bonkers how fucked up the mail is right now. Cards have reached as far as California and Florida, but somehow getting to my BFs in town has yet to happen.
I read a headline a week or so ago saying the Post Office was getting hammered this year in particular. Presumably from more people staying put and just sending gifts?

I hope everyone on board here had a nice Christmas. Had a nice time with the family and then later we watched the classic "Dawn of the Dead". Been ages since I watched it, and if possible, I liked it even more.
But the reason I'm chiming in on this thread is I'm excited at the start of the season for my Orlando Magic. Only just begun, but two solid wins.  |

And an exciting comeback win versus the Wizards last night!
The Wizards used to be known as the Bullets, but changed their name to get rid of the violent connotations. The Utah Jazz is a favorite here. They were the New Orleans Jazz long ago, but changed locations. Now the new N.O. team is the Pelicans. They have the greatest logo. Really angry-looking pelican. |
