Well, that was a nice quiet staycation. Equal parts work getting the yard back up to par, shiftless slobbery, and here in the last day or so I managed to throw together the new issue of the little movie rag that I do. That last one was a big "Whew!", because I kept putting it off and putting it off. I'd have felt terrible heading back to the exhausting madness of work without having something to show for the off time in that regard. Still scandalous that I didn't get it copied off and envelopes addressed and all that other good stuff, but at least I have something that will allow me to move on to those steps.

Well, for what it's worth, I'm not overly proud of the fact that I went the pay-for-play route, though the time was well spent and it indeed made me happy, as per the thread title.
