Because everyone here is of such a delicate disposition... Well, he did PM and it was pretty horrific, although probably sensationalized. Who knows? I've never looked into how many people commit murders on acid. Maybe there's been all sorts of terrible acid-drenched murders. I know some idiot acquaintances back in Atlanta ambushed my room-mate's best friend in his sleep while on acid. They somehow got it in their heads that he'd stolen money from them and beat the crap out of him. If the 60's taught us anything, it's that the bulk of humanity isn't ready for any consciousness-raising evolutionary leap just yet.

I just read about a 15-year-old on his first acid trip who looked at the brother who had given him the stuff and said "Who are you?"

I recently received the long-awaited VideoScreams consolidated catalog: Part 1. Thousands and thousands of obscurities. Granted, many probably ought to remain that way, but there's still some gems sprinkled throughout (that I can't easily locate through my usual, somewhat limited sources).

Dr. Kobb, any listing for HIS WIFE'S HABIT aka WOMEN AND BLOODY TERROR? There is quite a story behind that one that we have been discussing on CHFB. If you want a link, just say so, and I think you''ll find it incredible, as I did. One guy who finally found the film after a difficult search thought it was well worth the effort, and a very horrible horror movie, while others on CHFB considered it a mild border horror movie at best.

Indeed it is! Way up on page 213. I "may" be putting together an order soon. I'll try to keep that one in mind if I do. No promises.

Thanks for keeping me, and that film in mind, Dr. Kobb. I will try to find the link from the guy who thought the film was so great, and post it here for you to consider.

Dr. Kobb:
Here is the text of the One and Only review of Women and Bloody Terror on IMDB:
This one lives up to it's title.
ptsbobby2 September 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this one at the drive-in on a double feature with "Night of Bloody Horror", also with a young Gerald McRaney. The drive-in was packed, and people were even watching from the bowling alley across the street. This one is the better of the two, and includes an oversexed mother and daughter team, boobs ,rape , murder, car crashes, and a very downbeat ending. Although "Night of Bloody Horror" is available on video and DVD, "Women and Bloody Terror" has vanished. I can"t find it anywhere. Anyone got a clue? Probably Joy Houck's most entertaining effort. This one made Castle of Frankenstein Magazine's list as one of the all time worst, but worth a look . Where can I get this movie ?
UPDATE AUG.30,2011 : I was able to find this ultra rare movie at VIDEOSCREAMS.

You mentioned earlier that someone on CHFB had spoken highly of it. Do you have any of their comments available?

Dr. Kobb, I'm not sure now, it might have been in another place than CHFB. I think that guy above was the most enthusiastic.
I'll give you a link to the CHFB thread.

I don't know what I would think of the film until I see it.
Are you, Dr. Kobb, or anyone else, here on the board thinking of making a final purchase from Sinister Cinema before they close early next year?
They are making some special offers: Buy 6 DVDs for the price of 5 (the most expensive being free), and 12 DVDs for $99.
I'm thinking of getting Battle of the Worlds and Atom Age Vampire in widescreen, and, what else, for my six films?
