It's taken some getting adjusted to the new board, and while I've posted some of my favorite videos, I've got one on TV commercials, and the rest seem to be on individual songs (Don't stop believin' for example).
I'd done a bit of quick soul-searchng, as opposed to long time soul-searching, and think I'll just have a Billy's Favorite Music Videos thread, rather than indivicual threads for each of his favorite songs, or just adding my favorites to the open to everyone never ending mixtape threads.
So, here goes!

OK, Folks, here is my first of many favorite Music Videos. This is one I've been looking for for quite some time, and finally found last night.

What about that UFO song by Travis? Dr. Kobb, that is one of many that I need to get on here, and will do eventually. Thanks for the reminder.

Here's a good version of Hey There Delilah without the visuals in the more familiar version.

OK, ZAQBers, here is another favorite of mine, with a great slide show, firstime viewing for me.
I won't mention the name of a piddly little brothel near Georgetwon South Carolina, where the madam's reception building also burned down in the 1990s, a generation after it had ceased to be a brothel and had become just a plain apartment complex, as it's identity as the most famous house east of the Mississippi (well, at least according to some Georgetown residents) had faded into folklore.
I don't know of more than two versions of this song, but the other one is very good too. Think I'll just edit it into this post, rather than doing another post.
Now, for an equally good version of the song by Hank Thompson

Just remembered this one, after a time of forgetfullness.
There are only two kinds of people:
Buyers
and,
Sellers
The song so excellently drives home that point.
Joseph Wambaugh, a prominent crime story writer, prefaced one of his novels with the lyrics to this wisdom of Ian Whitcomb.
Which are you (or me)?
A Buyer?
Or?
A Seller?
IN HOLLYWOOD
Where is the place that they all like to go? It's Hollywood.
Jack 'n' Jill, Bruce and Bill, Farrah and Bo Go Hollywood.
Down on the boulevard Saturday night, You've never seen such a colorful sight, But make sure that you roll up your windows real tight In Hollywood.
Where are there so many hustling stars? In Hollywood. Stuck in the sidewalk or parking your cars-- That's Hollywood. Most every moment you'll hear sirens scream; Follow the cop cars--you'll soon reach the scene And you're bound to end up on the big or small screen In Hollywood.
In the tradition of countless marines Go to Hollywood. Tuck your equipment in super-tight jeans, Go Hollywood. Saunter the boulevard, you're out for hire, Milk all you can out of old men's desire, 'Cause in just a few years you'll find you are the buyer-- That's Hollywood!

Touche on that one, Marxo!
Deeky, I don't recognize the gentleman in the photo in your post. Can you refresh my memory on who he is?
You don't have to. Now I know. I did watch The X-Files some, but didn't remember the name of the character he played, so no reason for you to refresh my memory on the matter.
Touche also to Deeky.
I am wonderiing if Mr. Whitcomb's album "In Hollywood," would be worth investing the time to listen to all of the songs.
Buyers and Sellers
Winners and Losers (remember that one by Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds. Probably need to check out the u-tube of that one, as well as study the lyrics).

Here's the video of Winners and Losers.
Will also get the lyrics of this one posted.
Lyrics
Once you've felt the feelings full Of life and love, the ocean's flow Don't let life go by
To feel the thrill of love inside Share the thoughts That you can't hide Don't let lovers die
[Chorus:] They say winners and losers are Two of a kind, you know it's that way They say winners and losers are Two of a kind, you know it's that way
So every day, you say again Love's a risk, don't hurt your friend And don't let love go by
You fill the cup of life so well Let's drink to life, together Tell the reasons why
[Chorus:]
When you're feeling down and low You've hurt the one who loves you so Please, don't you cry
Just come to me And I'll hold you tight My wanting love will make it right And love won't go by
[Chorus:]
Winners and losers Winners and losers
Winners and losers Winners and losers
